About Me
Hi, I’m Mathilde, and being a petsitter in Zürich is my dream come true.
I’m originally from Neuchâtel. After several years working in event management, I realized that, while I enjoyed my job, my heart was always somewhere else, with animals.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a special connection with them: their calm, their honesty, and the way they remind us to slow down and live in the moment.
My Journey
From volunteering in shelters to professional pet care
I am a Veterinary Auxiliary
While I was living in Portugal and helping several associations, I took the opportunity to take a Veterinary Auxiliary course at Vetformacion, a school founded by veterinarians and winner of the 2024 Educational Excellence Award for Best Training Center in the Veterinary Sector.
I completed a 300-hour internship in a veterinary hospital, learning to support animals in delicate situations with care and attention.
I am trained to observe and understand animal behavior, assess their psychological state, and identify signs of stress or discomfort. I can recognize behavioral and physical abnormalities, allowing me to report relevant changes to you.
My Philosophy
“I’ve always believed that pets are family, and I treat them as such.
With respect, kindness, and lots of heart.”
