How does the booking work at Petsitting With Mathilde?

1. Initial contact

  • You can contact me by phone, email or via the contact form.
  • Together, we will define your needs and those of your pet.
  • A contract will be signed for greater transparency and security.

2. Pre-visit

  • An initial visit to your home is arranged.
    I get to know your pet in its own environment.
  • We will discuss their routine, habits, specific needs, etc., and you will show me where all their belongings are kept.
  • We will arrange for the keys to be handed over, or we will schedule a specific appointment for this purpose.

3. Visits / Neighborhood walks / House-sitting

I take care of your pet as if it were my own.

  • Feeding, cleaning litter boxes for cats, playing, cuddling, and monitoring their well-being.
  • I respect each pet’s individual pace: some like to play, others simply prefer a calm presence.
  • For dogs, walks tailored to their energy levels.
  • A report is sent to you after each visit (photo + message).

My rates reflect a professional, trustworthy pet care service built on trust, consistency, and exceptional attention to your pet’s well-being.

Visits (For cats & exotics)

  • The short visit: 30 min
    Zone A:  33 CHF
    Zone B: 48 CHF
    Zone C: 63 CHF
    Great for cats that are independent and require little attention.

     

  • The break: 45 min
    Zone A: 43 CHF
    Zone B:     58 CHF
    Zone C:     73 CHF
    For cats who enjoy games and affection.

     

  • Extended playtime: 1h
    Zone A: 48 CHF
    Zone B:     63 CHF
    Zone C:     78 CHF
    For very social cats.

Neighborhood walks

Note: The prices already includes the travel time.

Your dog will always be walked individually, with no group walks or multiple clients at once. Your dog gets my full attention.

Additional dog from the same household: 15 CHF (per dog)

Home-sitting

The night (approximately from 19:30 to 8:00):

  • For cats: 80 CHF
  • For dogs: 95 CHF

Important Notes: Working hours are from 08:00 to 18:00. Morning visits are scheduled between 08:00 and 12:00. Afternoon visits are scheduled between 14:00 and 18:00. The exact timing of visits is organized according to our schedule.

Visits requested at specific times within these periods will incur an additional charge of CHF 10 per visit.

Public holidays: December 25 & 26, January 1 &2, May 1, August 1: +50% of the service rate.

Travel expenses for key handover (before or after the service): 20 CHF (per trip)

If there are any items to purchase, such as kibble, wet food, litter, etc., I can pay for them in advance and you can reimburse me upon presentation of the invoice. The time spent will be charged at an hourly rate.

Veterinary : You are responsible for all veterinary fees (advance payment is possible, with reimbursement upon presentation of the invoice or a copy thereof). In addition, travel expenses will be charged at the usual rate for a visit (based on travel time and consultation time).

At the end of the service, the keys are returned: either in the mailbox, left in the apartment, or we can arrange an appointment for a hand-to-hand handover (under the same conditions as before the service).
